We are a locally owned tea business proudly rooted in the beautiful northern city of Prince George, British Columbia.

We’re excited to announce that our pop-up location is set to open in Spring 2026! Until then, keep an eye out for Kathlene’s Teahouse Café at smaller pop-ups throughout the community this winter season.
You can also find us showcasing our extensive collection of fine loose-leaf teas and tisanes at Prince George’s Festival of Trees, November 26th–30th. More winter pop-ups will be announced soon — stay tuned!

If you’re interested in hosting a High Tea catered event, we would be delighted to serve you. We accommodate groups from a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 30 guests. Please reach out to arrange your special gathering.

We are now online and ready to take orders! Visit our product page to explore our offerings. New teas and accessories will be added regularly, and if there’s something on your wish list that you don’t see, let us know — we may be able to bring it in for you.

We are a dedicated team committed to crafting exceptional experiences by the driving desire to provide exceptional & welcoming service, high quality baked goods and an assortment of quality teas.

In our fast paced life we believe in the power of pause. To slow down even for a moment and refresh and rejuvenate and the perfect pairing for that is pouring a lovely cup of tea! And of course a baked good sweet or savory is ALWAYS a welcomed addition!

Our history

From the modest beginnings of my very first High Tea experience more than 20 years ago, to creating and serving High Tea in my own home — and eventually for countless others — this journey has been one of joy, growth, and heartfelt intention.

I’ve grown through unwavering dedication and a commitment to continuous learning. With tea, there is always something new to discover.

I often say, “Oh, if teacups could talk… the stories they would tell!” To me, tea is a beautiful invitation to slow down and connect. Whether it’s a simple mug shared between friends or the elegance of a full High Tea, the heart of the experience remains the same: connection, comfort, and presence.
